Lava Surf is looking for a Senior Salesperson/Director of sales. To take our sales to the next level.

Lava Surf is a stable startup that has been around for over 5 years developing our social media management platform for multi-location businesses and the agencies or marketing tech companies that service them.
We are currently experiencing rapid growth with increases in direct and partnership sales and want to maximize this expansion.
What we do:
Lava Surf provides a platform for multi-location businesses to – manage all of their social posting and scheduling, – view and respond to social engagements and reviews, – manage shared social assets, – and gain insights into the effectiveness of their social posts with a robust data visualization and reporting platform across all of their locations and social accounts in one place.
Additionally, we make this platform easy for our partners to integrate into their existing systems as a white label offering or a more fully integrated partner.
Here are some things you could be doing in a typical day:
- Take inbound calls and demo requests through our website & internal lead generation efforts
- Attend conferences to gather new leads and establish relationships
- Work with referral partners
- Generate your own leads using LinkedIn, lists, etc.
- Provide demos to interested companies
- Put together proposals
- Work closely with the President & Co-founder

- Conferences; we attend 5 – 6 conferences each year
- Lists & Email drip campaigns
- Referral Partners
- Agency Partners
- Ads (Facebook, Linkedin)
- Outbound marketing (Account-based marketing)
- Referrals from existing clients

Aptitude is valued over experience in candidates for this position. That being said, this is Senior position. Please provide a wealth of sales, experience to your application.
Sales Experience in the following is prefered but not required:
- Proven track record
- Selling SaaS (software-as-a-service)
- Selling marketing services or solutions
- Selling services or solutions to franchises or other vertical based industries
- Phone Sales
- Attending conferences
- Self-starter, motivated
