LinkedIn Now Available!

Since the beginning of the year, we’ve added Instagram and Google My Business to the Lava Surf platform. So, we’re more than excited to announce the addition of LinkedIn publishing to our platform!

With the addition of LinkedIn publishing, you will be able to connect up your LinkedIn company pages and publish image, link, and video posts. LinkedIn publishing will be especially useful in helping you share your own blog content which can drive traffic back to your website.

To connect your LinkedIn account, simply navigate to Social Accounts and click “Connect” under LinkedIn. You’ll then need to accept the permissions that we’ll require to connect up your LinkedIn pages as well as publish on your behalf.

Once your account is all connected up and you’ve imported your pages, you can start publishing posts. You can create and publish posts to LinkedIn all within Launcher just like you would for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

New and Improved Profile Group Creation

NEW Simpler Profile Group Creation

We knew that creating profile groups previously wasn’t as simple as it should be. So, we came up with an easier and simpler way to create profile groups.

First off, profile groups make profile selection on a new post very quick. If you have hundreds of profiles, it can be a pain to scroll through them to find the right ones to select. Profile group selection makes this so easy that it only requires one click. The platform will automatically select all the profiles that you have previously grouped together in Profile Groups saving you time and headaches.

Now let’s have a discussion on the new and improved profile group creation feature. To create a new profile group, you simply need to navigate to “Profile Groups” which can be found in Launcher. Once there, all you need to do is:

  1. Click to create a new profile group and name it (i.e. California locations)
  2. Select the social network you would like to create it for
  3. Select your profiles you would like to add
  4. Click the double arrow button to add them over
  5. And SAVE!

Now that your new profile group is created, when you’re creating a new post, you will see it in the group selection when adding profiles the post should publish to.

New Feature – Launcher Quick Post is now available!

We are excited to introduce you to one of our latest feature enhancements – Quick Post! With this new feature, you can now more effectively create and schedule posts all from within Launcher. This update enables you to save time by reducing the number of steps it takes to creating and scheduling posts. Check out this short video below to see how quick & easy it now is (BYOP: Bring your own popcorn…)

What’s new with the Lava Surf platform?

  • Create posts from within Launcher using Quick Post. Add your message, upload your photos, videos, or links, boost your posts, and schedule or publish your post now all within one place.
  • Use the new post editor to easily update or change your scheduled posts. Edit your posts message, image, time/date, or boost all from within the post editor.
  • Double click on the calendar’s date or time to open up Quick Post and start creating your post with the date and time already selected.
  • Posts and raw content will automatically be created in the Library after scheduling or publishing a post.
